Do you believe in investing in our young leaders? Do you see potential in someone within your workplace, your family or our community that needs to be unleashed and positively developed?
If so - Applications are being sought for District 9980 - RYLA 2021 now.
RYLA is a high energy programme designed to develop young leaders between the ages of 20 and 29. The programme recognises, encourages and educates current and future leaders by offering them this intensive leadership experience.
The 2021, District 9980 programme will be held over 5 days in Queenstown, bringing together individuals to harness creativity, diversity, inspiration, energy, and leadership to cultivate personal growth, challenge limits and empower long-lasting meaningful change.
Originating in 1959 in Queensland, Australia, RYLA was officially adopted by Rotary International (RI) in 1971 to engage Rotary clubs and districts around the world to help the next generation of leaders expand their skills.
RYLA helps to develop self-confidence and a wide range of personal skills such as planning, personal organisation, public speaking and helps participants to understand the requirements of many aspects of personal leadership, community, and business.
The programme includes seminars, activities, group discussions and interactions with other like-minded young leaders, from all walks of life and for many, this is life changing.
If you know of someone aged between 20 - 29 years that would benefit from an opportunity to join this RYLA programme, would like an application or more info - please contact Kieran O'Neill - email: kieranfo13@gmail.com.
