Meeting payments via phone / internet banking / online:
The option of paying via internet / online banking at reception of a meeting is available. Simply process payment for lunch meeting via your phone banking app, online banking etc and give the payment confirmation reference # to the member who is on reception to record on reception form.
Reminder that members are welcomed to share a contribution in the bulletin, can be a shared article, something written for another purpose you think members might be interested in or a topic you have an opinion or are passionate about.
Contributions can be emailed to: lmfkjs@xtra.co.nz - close off for contributions is Thursday 3pm. Publication will be subject to space.
Southland Girls High School (SGHS) – Bushy Point Project
As mentioned at recent Club Forum, the Bushy Point Restoration Project is an ongoing project to restore a 14-hectare area of pasture grass, located between two remnants of nationally significant native Totara forest in Otatara.
SGHS have been involved with this project since 2005 as part of their “Community Breakout” days. SGHS are looking for volunteer support for their Year 7 and 8 students for the upcoming planting days.
