A culinary fundriaser, in association with the SIT Hospitality students, to experience a little bit of Sri Lanka and support Every Child A Future Rotary in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific will be 100 years old. The Rotary "Give Every Child A Future" project celebrates 100 years of service and in collaboration with UNICEF, with a plan to vaccinate the most disadvantaged children and adolescent girls across the Pacific. This project covers two core focus areas of Rotary: saving mothers and children, and fighting disease. Our club is 100 years old in 2024, and we are supporting this project with our own goal to fundraise for 100 vaccines at $45 each, this is $4,500. The cost is $65 per person to include an entree, main, dessert plus first glass of bubbles, beer or orange juice. It will be a cash bar, and numbers are limited to 50 guests. To secure your seat(s) please RSVP to Chami via her email at chami.abeysinghe.rotary@gmail.com If you want to know more about the project behind this fundraiser check out https://everychildafuture.com/ |

[Source: https://nkmp.maori.nz/] The article(s) below share a little more insight in what Sam will cover in her talk. https://www.southlandexpress.co.nz/our-community/seeping-into-all-corners-of-society/ [Image: Sam & son Nixon - published with permission]
