The planning for the 2025 Deep Cove Service Project is underway
Almost 50 years on from the original fundraising for the rebuilding of the Deep Cove Outdoor Education hostel spearheaded by 1978, Club President Ray Rankin, our long association with the hostel is set to continue into our 101st year.
The annual working bee in at the Hostel that has kicked off service projects for the Rotary calendar year for a number of years is 'scheduled' for 25th and 26th of January 2025.
As with previous years a group goes in to assist the Deep Cove Outdoor Education Trust with tasks to tidy up before the schools start visiting for the year.
Transport to and from the Deep Cove Hostel will be arranged by boat from / to Pearl Harbour - Manapouri and then by bus through the pass.
Working Bee tasks are still being put together and a list of what is required from the Group will be available closer to the time.

Space to participate in this club service project is limited – so if you are interested please contact Helen Cook on: 027 310 85870 or by email on
helencook697@gmail.com and register your interest to join the group.
