The annual Working Weekend for Deep Cove, our first Service Project for 2026, is all go as scheduled for 23rd & 24th January 2026.
As advised space to participate in this club service project is limited - if you are planning on going please register your name with President Michael.
Our Club has a long term arrangement for a group to go in to assist the Deep Cove Outdoor Education Trust with tasks to tidy up before the schools start visiting.
Transport by boat then by bus is sponsored by Real Journeys from Manapouri to Deep Cove and return.
There is a boat on Friday to do two nights or Saturday (24th) at 10am to just do one night.
You need to bring your own sleeping bag and towel and make a contribution towards food organised for the group.
On the trip, members work on R & M projects around the Deep Cove hostel, as directed by the Trust.
