Not been to Deep Cove before - want to know more then talk to one of the 2025 crew
The annual Working Bee for Deep Cove is scheduled for 23rd & 24th January 2026.
Our Club has a long term arrangement for a group to go in to assist the Deep Cove Outdoor Education Trust with tasks to tidy up before the schools start visiting.
Join us for one night or two nights for service above self.
Transport is sponsored by Real Journeys from Manapouri to Deep Cove and return.
You need to bring your own sleeping bag and towel and make a contribution towards food organised for the group.
On the trip, members work on R & M projects around the Deep Cove hostel, as directed by the Trust.
Over the years tasks have included general cleaning up outside buildings, water blasting, clearing of overgrown bush on tracks and painting.
