Club Member Ria amongst the Cosplay Characters at the Southland Brick Show last weekend
Following an approach from LUG South for support with their community event, a group of members volunteered over the 2 day weekend event.
Members helped out with collecting entry fees and escorting people who were not able to use stairs along the alternative ramp access route to the displays in the velodrome.
The 2024 event was the 10th Brick Show put together by LUG (Lego Users Group) South with over 70 Lego displays and a new collaborative display with custom Lego trains travelling through different scenes built by 12 different group members.

The purpose of the Trust is to share the Trustee’s passion for Lego with the general public for the benefit, directly or indirectly, of any child who is sick, infirm, disabled or disadvantaged and the families thereof within the Southland/Otago region.
Proceeds raised from the event entry fee will be donated to Youthline, Ronald McDonald Family Room, Southland Hospital and Life Education Trust.
