The Rotary Clubs of Invercargill supported by the Southland Business Chamber hosted a Meet the Candidates evening for candidates standing in the Invercargill Electorate in this year's General Election.

Each year the Santa Parade floats are tidied up and made to look sparkling for the annual parade. In 2023, the parade is being held on November 25.

Six Rotary clubs came together to clean up the Estuary Walkway in Invercargill on March 27. It was a fantastic effort and showed in action Rotary members helping the environment by keeping it clean.

Members, friends and family headed to Deep Cove for a weekend working bee 21/22 January 2023. There was fun & fellowship and some time found for fishing amongst the tasks.

After a short hiatus – the popular Fireside Forums made a comeback to our annual programme. Twenty six members attended during the three days, three locations and three awesome hosts. Topics for this year's forums were diverse and as intended stimulated discussion.Hosts this year included Tom and Rose Shields, Alice Pottinger and Ross Wensley.

The first Rotary car boot sale was held at the Ascot Park Raceway, on March 25, 2023, from 10am to 2pm.

The Club's annual book sale was held this year at the Scottish Hall. The 2024 sale was the Club's 43rd in its 100 years. The major recipient selected for this years funds is The Grace Street Project.

Rotary members, friends and family joined together for the traditional Christmas lunch to end the year.
