Do you know a young leader in our community ?
Do you know a young person who could benefit from RYLA 2027?
The Rotary Club of Invercargill is seeking nominations to sponsor a future community leader. Members are encouraged to share this opportunity and invite someone suitable to apply or be nominated.
RYLA helps current and future leaders develop their leadership skills and prepare to contribute to their communities.
In a supportive, hands-on environment, participants build self-awareness, put leadership into practice and develop a sense of community. It’s an opportunity to be challenged, inspired and encouraged alongside other young leaders.
Two locations and age-group options are available.
RYLA Queenstown
Sunday 31 January - Friday 5 February 2027, $1,175 per person
Age: 20-30 years
or
RYLA Christchurch
Sunday 17 - Thursday 21 January 2027, $1,175 per person
Age: 18-25 years
Individuals can apply personally or be nominated through a Rotary Club.
Someone in your family, workplace or wider community may come to mind. A conversation and a little encouragement could help them take the next step.
Please pass on the information below and remind them that applications close 18 November 2026.
Seminars, activities and group discussions bring together like-minded young leaders from all walks of life. RYLA recognises their potential and supports their development — for many, it is a life-changing experience.
Programme information and application links are below. For further details, contact Club Youth Director Trish Lindsay at trish.lindsay@sit.ac.nz. Thank you for helping our club encourage the next generation of community leaders.
