The 2025 Host a Roast donation to Ronald McDonald Family Room
The Rotary Club of Invercargill had been looking forward to hosting its fifth Host A Roast fundraiser on Sunday 27 September. However, due to a change in circumstances, the event has been postponed.
Host A Roast has become a highlight of our Club calendar, bringing members, friends and family together for an enjoyable afternoon while raising funds for the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Southland Hospital.
Keep an eye on your Rotary calendar for the new Host A Roast date in 2027.
Located alongside the Children’s and Neonatal wards at Southland Hospital, the Southland Ronald McDonald Family Room offers families a welcoming place to rest while remaining close to their children during treatment. The facility includes four overnight bedrooms, which are allocated daily according to need by the Family Room Supervisor and medical staff.
Over the years, the Rotary Club of Invercargill has donated more than $10,000 to the Ronald McDonald Family Room. We look forward to supporting this valuable service with a further donation in 2027.
